What We’re Looking For

We are looking for a creative and talented individual to join our team and make an immediate impact with a key automotive client. You will be successful if you are able to interpret business requirements and client briefs quickly, and translate them into elegant, creative solutions within required deadlines. Our account team manages multiple projects concurrently, and our learning strategist will too. He/she must be skilled at working with a team of project managers, e-Learning developers, instructional designers, and an account director. Our learning strategist must be exceptional at pitching creative concepts to clients, as well as communicating ideas and creating concepts for our MSX team. The ideal candidate will have a natural eye for design and be a prolific generator of dynamic ideas that connect with a variety of audiences. Projects may include:

 

  • The design and development of brand new workshops.
  • Writing briefs and communications copy designed for a specific learner audience.
  • Spearheading content and creative strategy for both small and large projects.
  • Harnessing brand design, providing art direction and managing continuity.
  • Learning technologies employed by the client. 
  • Customer journey mapping, design thinking, and data analysis.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the ideation, design, and delivery of Automotive Retail training. Initiatives include brand and cultural immersion, performance-driven process improvement and customer experience excellence, for Sales, Service and BDC’s.
  • Guide the delivery of virtual and in-person training, considering environment, creative and communications approach.
  • Distill abstract business concepts and client needs into refined creative solutions.
  • Take responsibility for the creative vision and the standard of output from the team.
  • Conduct brainstorming sessions with account team to produce fresh, innovative work that translates complex ideas into compelling materials and digital experiences for learner audiences.
  • Effectively convey creative ideas to clients and team members with confidence and clarity.
  • Ensure that all creative output is consistent with the client’s brand and aligned with client’s objectives.
  • Conceive and implement concepts, guidelines, and strategies, overseeing projects to completion.
  • Design presentation approaches and content outlines, directing layout, design, and copywriting.
  •  Develop and implement performance improvement strategies, analyzing performance metrics and data to identify areas of improvement, and evaluating the effectiveness of these initiatives.
  • Conduct market research and analysis to ensure creative strategies are best-in-class.

Requirements

  • Ten years of relevant experience, with five or more years as a creative strategist in an agency and/or learning setting.
  • Experience as a copywriter, graphic designer, or production artist.
  • Experience creating integrated content across digital, social, mobile, offline, and print.
  • Outstanding written and interpersonal skills to communicate creative vision, concepts, and solutions clearly and effectively to internal teams and clients.
  • Proven ability to work with clients to understand detailed requirements and build a creative vision that matches client objectives.
  • Experience working effectively in a cross-functional team, including synthesizing abstract ideas into concrete design implications.
  • Proven track-record of successfully leading projects in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Adobe Creative Cloud, and PowerPoint to create high-quality messaging, with structure and format.

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in fine arts (preferred), graphic design, visual communication, typography, instructional design, instructional technologies, or a related subject, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Experience creating learning solutions for automotive retail.
  • Specialties in one or more of the following: learning and communication strategy, curriculum development, instructional design, coaching and consulting.
  • Self-starter with an entrepreneurial and highly responsive spirit.
