MSX International is going through a period of transformation and as such are looking for a Business Development Executive to increase organisational revenue with both existing and new clients in the UK, and to generate real value for MSX Clients.

 

 

 

The Role

The Business Development Executive will oversee, understand and collect Customers’ needs and requirements and be the primary MSX Ambassador to reinforce the MSX positioning as a main player in the Automotive Industry. 

 

With a primary focus on growing MSX’s involvement in the digital world, the Business Development Executive will be responsible for:

 

  • Managing and organising the Local pre-Sales, Strategic Selling and Sales phases with the help and support of the local Delivery Leader with the following tasks: 
    • Plan and organise Local Marketing and Sales events to generate Brand Awareness/Open doors in New industries;
    • Manage the Local Networking; 
    • Strengthen the C-Level relationship;
    • Conduct pre-Sales activities in order to feed the Sales funnel with new Prospects and Leads; 
    • Define and execute the LAMP strategy;
    • Manage the Leads stages in order to maximize the conversion;
    • Intercept new potential Customers needs and their business trends. 
  • Exploring New Industry opportunities:
    • Increase and develop MSX’s Customers portfolio 
  • Maximising the Company CRM usage: 
    • Feed the system with all the Customers’ details; 
    • Track and manage each Lead evolution into the Sales Process; 
    • Define proper sales campaigns.  
  • Preparing and delivering the MSX Proposal to the Customers’ RFQs: 
    • Coordinate data and information collection from the involved stakeholders (Value Stream Team, HR, Finance, GTS), to assemble a compelling proposal. 
  • Providing feedback to the Local/Regional/Global Client and Delivery Managers on product/solution development
  • Local customer satisfaction and business retention:
    • Monitor customer satisfaction; 
    • Carry out on going customer reviews/contacts to ensure customer requirements are well understood and services delivery exceeds customer expectations 
    • Ensure actions are taken to prevent and address potential internal & external customer concerns. 
  • Full delegation in all activities related to:
    • Optimise the planning of resources able to support the Pitch or Sales Team during the pre-Sales and Sales activities; 
    • Feed, monitor and control the pipeline in his own domain of competences. 

 

About you

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a consultative sales background within automotive, agricultural or transport industries, or for someone who has a keen interest in digitisation and its role in the industry.

With knowledge and understanding of how businesses operate, our ideal Business Development Executive will be experienced in managing large customers and portfolios and in negotiating projects and building business cases.

To be successful in this role the Business Development Executive will:

  • Have a good understanding of the digital world
  • Have a good understanding of digitisation in the customer journey within the automotive industry
  • Have a strategic selling approach to manage and organise all the steps of the sales stages (conducting pre-sales activities/events for feeding the sales funnel with new prospects and leads to maximise the conversion);
  • Have previous experience in the auomotive industry with OEMs and retailers too
  • Have knowledge of the competition with an awareness of how strategies and tactics work in the market;
  • Be able to identify the best suiting MSX solution to satisfy the Customer’s expectations, maximising the Value generated;
  • Be customer-focused, and dedicated to meeting the expectations and requirements of internal and external customers;
  • Be driven to succeed;
