This time we are seeking an experienced and dynamic individual to join us as a Senior Warranty Coordinator! This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead and guide a team of skilled professionals dedicated to delivering exceptional service in assessing and validating warranty claims.

 

Duties and Responsibilities: 

 

Operational

  • Process warranty claims on a timely basis from a technical and administrative point of view
  • Explain in writing on the warranty claim the reason for return/correction/rejection
  • Prepare, review and update warranty bulletins
  • Raise debit note/invoice to workshops in case of excessive/unjustified payments
  • Alert the warranty manager on recurring incidents
  • Alert the warranty manager on the recurring claiming issues of the dealers
  • Support the dealers in the claiming process (channel to be confirmed)
  • Prepare activity reports
  • Support the training department on training of the staff in charge of (warranty) claiming in the workshop network
  • Providing a Prior Authorization on Warranty Repair for a specific list of repairs

 

Management

  • Day-to-day leading the team
    • Planning (absence/travels/expenses/…)
    • Performance monitoring
  • Training Warranty team
  • Reporting
  • 1st line of contact for customer

 

Qualifications

  • Degree in Engineering or equivalent specializing in vehicle technology, mechanical engineering or electrical engineering with a focus on drives or master craftsman/workshop manager/master technician
  • Expert in managing the relationship with workshop warranty peoples as well as workshop managers
  • Expert in Warranty Management, familiar with European consumer laws and customer rights
  • Previous experience in a similar job for an OEM
  • Expert in ICE vehicles and all its components
  • Expert in BEH vehicles and all its components
  • Knowledge diagnosis tools and reports
  • Good knowledge of electrical diagrams
  • Experience managing/leading a team while being operationally involved.

 

Experience

Automotive experience with technical background (3-5 years), very good warranty assessment skills

 

Desired language skills:

Dutch (native), German (professional proficiency) and advanced level of technical English
