In today’s fast paced business environment, effective talent practices that drive true value are vital, making it essential to expand HR’s strategic role in the business.

 

As our HR Senior Advisor with a 1 year fixed term contract, you will be a key driver of strategic HR initiatives that drive value for MSX and position the business to take full advantage of existing talent within the business and wider market. As such, a commercial mindset, business acumen and a people centric approach are key requirements, as well as possessing the credibility and authority to drive important talent decisions, influence and advise the senior leadership team.

Equally, you will also play a key role ensuring operational aspects of HR run smoothly, partnering your market so they can get the most out of the new service model. Your business and market knowledge will need to be applied to support colleagues in the hub, so they can deliver quality and consistency to hiring managers and employees in your market.

 

Key responsibilities

  • Develop and deliver a world class People Strategy for the Benelux market in partnership with global/regional initiatives and team
  • Lead and develop strategic HR initiatives 
    • Training and development planning that invests in the most critical skills and people for MSX’s future, and develop the next generation of business leaders
    • Performance management initiatives
  • Work with the global team and other HR Managers on regional/global initiatives
  • Ensure operational HR services are delivered to appropriate quality and consistency
  • Employee Relations and compensation and benefits management 
  • Support the governance of delivery from the regional HR HUB, and partnering with the business to ensure they receive key services from talent acquisition and HR support.
  • Promote a people first culture which focuses on empowerment, recognition, and coach leadership plus people managers to foster collaborative, empowered teams
  • Drive and support alignment of all processes, policies and procedures with the global team and the business, proactively identify and respond to business threats and opportunities
  • Lead the workforce planning in partnership with the different projects and drive the employee life cycle experience

 

About you

This is an excellent opportunity for an individual with great organizational and communication skills. Our ideal HR Senior Advisor has a high level of empathy, as well as:

  • Minimum 3 years of diverse HR experience
  • Strong understanding of the Benelux market from labour law point of view
  • Excellent communication skills in Dutch and English, both written and spoken and able to develop positive working relationships across all levels and functions
  • Proven track record of positively influencing teams
  • Effectively handle multiple priorities, organize workload and meet deadline

Working pattern and location

  • 40 hours per week (32 hours is also an option)
  • Hybrid Working (at least 2 days at the MSX-office in Nijkerk, max. 3 days from home)
  • 1 year fixed term contract
