This luxury car brand are now recruiting for a Service Advisor, to oversee the timely progress and efficient processing of all new vehicles, from the point of arrival to the moment of dispatch.



The Role

Working in conjunction with the technical workshops and valeting teams, the Service Advisor will ensure the highest standards of vehicle presentation are consistently applied and rigorously maintained.

The Service Advisor will be positioned within the Genesis Customer Service department, and will:


  • progress sold vehicle orders towards their delivery date
  • check the standard of vehicle preparation at various key stages, carrying out vehicle inspections and quality audits
  • plan ahead to avoid any delays to agreed timescales and work with the wider team to overcome obstacles
  • initiate process changes to improve operational efficiencies and customer satisfaction
  • take telephone Service bookings and liaise with logistics, workshop and Parts teams
  • ensure all paperwork is controlled to agreed methods and in compliance with all regulatory requirements
  • work with the technical team to assist in the roll out and successful completion of all technical campaigns and updates
  • meet with customers where required to support in vehicle concerns



About you

This is the perfect role for someone who is passionate about improving and implementing efficiency and who has experience of managing workflows in an Automotive and Customer Service environment.


To be successful in this role you will:


  • have Main/Franchise Dealer operational experience (preferred)
  • have experience in a customer handling role and in delivering excellent customer service
  • have good working knowledge of aftersales systems and processes
  • be able maintain consistently high standards, in a busy environment
  • be able to direct the actions of others in order to secure the optimal outcome for customers and the business and to secure optimal business performance
  • be able focus on multiple tasks and deadlines at the same time


Applicants must hold a Clean driving licence and be able to support at multiple locations within the UK requiring some overnight travel.
