The Role

MSXI has a fantastic opportunity for an experienced automotive professional to join us as a Trade Parts Sales Manager.

 

In this field-based role, the Trade Parts Sales Manager will effectively develop a trade sales proposition and manage assigned Trade Centres, by means of coaching, implementation of trade best practice processes and improvement of customer service levels.

 

As a Trade Parts Sales Manager, you will:

 

  • develop and implement the Toyota first! trade programme
  • identify potential Trade Centres, ensuring suitable levels of sales potential
  • develop, support, and drive the Toyota trade marketing activity, ensuring effective customer targeting and sell-in
  • ensure ongoing maintenance of customer data with the Toyota defined sales reporting system
  • conduct regular visits and sales performance reviews with Centres
  • implement action plans for maximising sales opportunities
  • ensure quarterly national and local campaigns are delivered and implemented
  • make visits to local IMR and Bodyshop customers with the Centre, and coach on all aspects of selling parts through the trade channel
  • develop the trade parts operations of designated trade Centres as per programme guidelines and procedures:
    • implement the Sales Development Process
    • consistent application of sales coaching & techniques
    • ensure profitable sales growth
    • assist in IMR customer conversion and assist with sales techniques and identifying sales opportunities
    • coach Centres to meet programme standards

 

About you

We are looking for a Trade Parts Sales Manager with the tenacity and passion to deliver exceptional results. You will be an analytical thinker and be able to strategise and develop techniques to create opportunities. Our ideal Trade Parts Sales Manager will:

 

  • have a Parts background within a Main dealer
  • have Motor factor / Aftermarket experience
  • have Selling Skills and techniques within the Manufacturer or Aftermarket parts
  • have excellent Presentation skills
  • be a Self-starter with a proven track record of achieving Parts trade targets

 

Due to the nature of this role, ideal candidates will be based around the Central Belt for ease of travel.
