Role Purpose:


We are currently looking for a Program or Project Manager (m/w/d) for German Premium OEM based in Stuttgart, the position can be hybrid.  

Global / International Project Manager:


  • Project or Program Manager for strategic projects at premium OEMs
  • Concept development for OEM service network, including 3rd providers
  • Identify, analyse, and prepare project potentials and the environment.




Main Responsibilities/Tasks:


  • Responsible for delivering the project/concept development in Quality, Cost and Time (QCT);  for delivering the project overall   
  • Responsible for initial, developing, designing, and executing all project/concept steps
  • Monitors progress of national/ international realization regularly
  • Set up and report to Steering Committee on a quarterly/monthly basis incl. gate review meetings
  • Set up and report to Management on a weekly / monthly basis (tbc)
  • Raises all necessary issues and risks at the project/concept level where necessary
  • Lead ad and motivate the team to deliver project goals and objectives
  • Coordinates and ensures that requests by stakeholders (Premium OEM & MSX) will be correctly tackled and answered.
  • Getting buy-in from key stakeholders
  • Follows project/concept rules and procedures, secure escalation, and secure quality
  • Organize and coordinate standard review and (gate) review meetings
  • Set up master documents and infrastructure for the project (SharePoint, visit-report-master, action plan master, dashboards with traffic light...)
  • Support & monitor progress on MSX performance on a roll out on QCT
  • Consolidate minutes/actions lists, follow up and update from status meetings
  • Manage and support with data collecting, preparing, and analyzing  
  • Provide KPI statistics and status meetings
  • Deliver planning and updates (vs. progress).
  • Follow-up activities/performance progress based on planning


What do we require from you?


  • Minimum 5 years of experience in automotive project management, preferably aftermarket, after-sales services; and/or service networks
  • Experience in coaching processes to improve customer focus in PREMIUM OEM dealer networks, preferably in Aftersales at a premium OEM or in an external function for an OEM
  • Desirable, has worked at a premium OEM (group experience useful) at international level
  • Educated as project manager (PMI, PMP, Six Sigma, Houston or inhouse certification) or verifiable, at least 4 successfully completed projects, of which at least 1 with complex facts and one at least with international backgroundà. Projects are to be presented briefly at the interview.
  • Change-Management expertise and re-organization  
  • High level of personal responsibility and pro-activity
  • Accept projects as "own" (buy-in) 
  • Appear respectable (good serosity)
  • International experience; Europe sufficient; lived abroad desirable.
  • Fluent in English (spoken/written) and other languages (esp. French, Spanish, desirable); German is mandatory but need not be a mother tongue.


PREMIUM OEM-specific tasks:


  • Plan, organise, lead, and track the project/concepts, all activities, and the global project team. 
    • In collaboration with Premium OEM- PM
    • Central coordination of Global project/concept planning with premium OEM headquarters
    • Reporting of the global rollout progress and the defined KPIs, as well as the escalation of problems to Rollout Manager Premium OEM AG
  • Acts as a sparring partner for the project or program manager at the premium OEM
  • Ensuring the necessary knowledge transfers to internal MSX 
  • Ensuring the consistent rollout quality of the local rollouts if needed
  • Managing the local project managers or coordinators in the markets if needed
