The Aftersales Content Management and Creative Services team are looking for an experienced Copy Writer to work closely with our Senior Copy Writer in order to meet the demands of the team to support with copy writing across all key campaigns.

The Role

The incumbent of this role will need to produce copy that ensures consistency in tone of voice, is succinct, compelling and engaging and correct spelling and grammar is applied. The scope includes a multitude of channels (for example press releases, news and magazine editorial copy, video scripts, web copy, email, social media and dealer launch bulletins) addressed to various audiences (retail, dealer, trade and internal).

Your Responsibilities

To deliver highly engaging marketing copy by:

• having a good understanding of our industry, our products and services, our target audiences and the tone of voices utilised by each of our machinery brands
• understanding the intricacies of producing copy that will be translated into different languages, particularly important for headlines.
• having a proven track record in writing copy for different comms channels with a particular understanding of digital and the practices of SEO in web copy
• having the ability to create content that is targeted based on the audience segment, brand and market
• ability to work to copy deadlines ensuring next step of the campaign process can proceed as planned
• having a high attention to detail and accuracy
• ability to bring creative and fresh ideas that are relevant for our target audiences Undertaking content quality control checks, including proof reading of designed material, web pages and emails to ensure content supplied has been accurately implemented where required.

About you

This is an excellent opportunity for an individual with advanced Excel and PowerPoint presentation skills, along with strong communication skills. Our ideal Copywriter will have experience in the automotive industry (not essential) and a confident demeanour presenting results and influencing senior stakeholder in other countries, as well as:

• Min 1 year Copy Writing experience (particularly in a digital retail context)
• Excellent Communicator
• High attention to detail and accurate
• Tenacious, creative & self-motivated
• Ability to work to and meet deadlines
