Title:  Corporate Recruiter

MSXI has an immediate opening for a full-time recruiter to join its growing Corporate HR/Talent Acquisition team in Southfield. This position, reporting to the Talent Acquisition Lead, recruits for full-time employees, including employees assigned to our largest automotive customers and our own corporate Finance, HR and IT groups.  We work hard individually and as a group, in a collegial, supportive environment, and we look forward to welcoming an outstanding new team member. This position is able to be done remotely.


  • Develop and maintain strong working relationships with the Talent Acquisition team, internal and external clients, candidates, vendors, community organizations and other stakeholders in order to have collaborative partnerships that produce predictable and successful results and maintain the credibility of the individual recruiter and the Talent Acquisition team
  • Exhibit competency in the recruitment of candidates of various categories, including hourly and professional, across multiple disciplines (e.g., program management, sales, technology, finance and operations)
  • Work collaboratively with stakeholders to develop and maintain job descriptions that attract top talent
  • Creatively source candidates through a variety of methods, including writing and placing attractive job postings, active use of social media, mining niche industry websites, college recruiting and general and targeted networking.
  • Utilize effective interview and candidate selection techniques via phone/Skype screens, in-person interviews, panel interviews and other methods
  • Present and negotiate employment offers, giving attention to critical detail
  • Collaborate with internal clients, providing education on current best practices in Talent Acquisition, actively assessing and monitoring needs and managing expectations, and conducting position intake sessions
  • Generate reports related to sourcing, interviewing, hires, and other important metrics related to Talent Acquisition
  • Work as an integral member of the Corporate Human Resources Department to support the Company’s workforce, perform best practices and ensure compliance with FLSA requirements and practices
  • Other related projects as assigned



  • 1 – 3 years of recent and relevant experience in a Recruiting role
  • Demonstrated knowledge of sourcing, recruitment and interviewing methods and techniques
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with demonstrated proficiency in creating and editing communications and other writings
  • Working knowledge of relevant employment law
  • Ability to multitask and work under tight time constraints
  • Ability to adhere to professional standards in all matters and confidentiality requirements
  • A highly professional and dependable manner
  • Ability to be a proactive self-starter, able to work effectively, independently and within a team structure
  • Willingness and ability to adapt to an ever-changing environment while maintaining a positive outlook and demeanor
  • Demonstrated interpersonal skills, with a high degree of focus on customer service and satisfaction and commitment to providing a “best in class” candidate experience
  • Proficiency in MS Office products such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
  • Web 2.0 savvy, including appropriate utilization of social media for business purpose
  • Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems and Human Resource Information Systems


Education and/or Experience

  • 1 – 3 years of recent and relevant experience in a Recruiting role
  • Bachelor’s degree required
