Title:  Service Development Specialist - Express - Northeast

Assist General Motors Customer Care and Aftersales (GM CCA) Dealers in achieving objectives with specific focus on Tire Sales, Inventory Levels, Dealership Personnel Training, and Regional Personnel Training.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Assistance in establishing all support elements required to successfully operate the Tire program, i.e. guidance in development of dealer and customer program materials as necessary
  • Assistance in selecting suppliers, negotiating terms and conditions for equipment and parts, and reviewing supplier competitiveness and performance on an on-going basis
  • Assistance to GM in identifying dealers and in obtaining dealer commitment to the program
  • Development of business objectives based on latest market information for the selected dealers, including facility and resource requirements
  • Development and on-going monitoring of dealer action plans, ensuring that all agreed actions are implemented within the given timescale
  • Providing recommendations of stock levels, staff and equipment requirements for individual dealerships
  • Providing assistance to pilot dealers in the selection and training of suitable personnel if required
  • Provide training on interpersonal skills, customer handling, administrative procedures and reporting measurement criteria
  • Development and implementation of a measurement system for the evaluation of the program
  • Provide regular reports to MSX Management
  • Provide feedback/market intelligence

  • Highly Organized
  • Good oral and written communication skills
  • High level of interpersonal skills to work effectively with others
  • Microsoft Excel – Intermediate
  • Microsoft Access – Intermediate
  • Microsoft Outlook – Intermediate
  • Experience with All Tire manufacture certification process
  • Working knowledge tire sales and tire store management processes



  • College degree (Associate’s or Bachelor’s) is required
