We are looking for a seasoned Program Manager to join our team in a highly dynamic role!  You will oversee technical training for key automotive OEM accounts, including the design, development, and delivery of web-based, instructor-led and video training for retail automotive technicians.

In this role you will collaborate with our in-house curriculum development and software development teams to deliver top quality work. Success will rely on your close partnership with clients to understand their products and technologies and develop industry-leading solutions.

 

Key Responsibilities include:

Project Management

  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously and according to deadlines
  • Proactively bring solutions to clients and company leadership
  • Assume ownership of all aspects of project delivery, including budgets, timelines, quality of deliverables, and client satisfaction
  • Resolve resourcing constraints by collaborating with team members
  • Escalate visibility to challenges; offer solutions and guide processes to resolution

Team Management

  • Collaborate with production and account team to deliver industry-leading solutions
  • Align internal delivery schedules and processes with each client’s vision
  • Clearly and consistently communicate project status to MSX Production Lead
  • Interface with project team members and suppliers dispersed geographically
  • Assume responsibility for content development and supervise instructional designers

Client Management

  • Establish rapport and build relationships with key client stakeholders
  • Demonstrate automotive technical repair and diagnosis knowledge
  • Conduct project kick-off meetings, leading discussions on scope and details
  • Set and maintain clear client expectations
  • Manage all client communications, including weekly status and presentations
  • Attend onsite meetings at client location when possible
  • Support business development (discovery, estimates, proposals) as required

Required Experience and Skills

  • Bachelor’s or Automotive Technology Degree, or equivalent work experience
  • Minimum 5-7 years in project management of scope, budget, schedules, resources, and client communications
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Success in a fast-paced environment with aggressive deadlines and frequent change
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with extreme attention to detail
  • Proven client relationship management skills
  • Strong work ethic and an enthusiastic, “can-do” attitude
  • Track-record of taking initiative and being a problem-solver

 

Additional Skills

  • Experience managing learning and development projects from start to finish and across multiple formats (web-based, video and instructor-led) a plus
  • Experience using project management and collaboration tools such as MS Project, MS Teams, Basecamp and Monday.com a plus
  • Bilingual in Spanish a plus
