We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Warranty professional who thrives in a fast-paced, exciting, and dynamic organisation. As a key member of the UK warranty team, we are looking for someone with an automotive retail onsite warranty audit background.


As a Warranty Auditor for MSX International we require a focused individual with excellent attention to detail, who is keen to support performance improvement in terms of presentation, people, processes and customer experience.  In addition to assessing whether manufacture warranty standards are being adhered to, there is a requirement to ensure that best practice is provided to dealership staff to facilitate a culture of continual improvement.


Your responsibilities:

The main purpose of the Warranty Audit Specialist is to audit the retail network; and to provide an in-depth review of retailer warranty operations focusing on customer concern identification, repair capabilities and compliance to process and procedures as well as potential Audit risk. This is a highly technical role


Your core responsibilities will include:

  • Develop and maintain relations with the local National Sales Company (JLR) and retailers
  • Demonstrate a sound understanding of aftersales activities within the Retailer network (Service, Parts & Warranty)
  • Carry out a fully independent audit in line with the manufacturers process and procedures
  • Create detailed audit reports on audit findings including recommended remedial actions
  • Fully explain the findings of the audit to all relevant retailer staff and service managers
  • Guide retailers on best practice for their business
  • Analysis of KPI data and identify retailers weaknesses and strengths that need support from this program
  • Promote the value of the audit program to retailer management
  • Provide strong detailed, accurate and timely reporting to MSX Management
  • Fulfil all reporting requirements
  • Complete ad hoc duties where necessary for MSX/OEM Management
  • Use MSX/OEM warranty systems to complete audits


Your profile:

  • The ideal candidate will possess an OEM retail warranty audit background, with demonstrable automotive warranty and technical knowledge
  • Ability to remain calm and diplomatic in pressurised situations and the ability to clearly convey difficult arguments and judgments to a varied audience
  • Process-driven with strong problem-solving and investigative abilities
  • High level of computer literacy and ability to learn complex new OEM systems
  • Excellent working knowledge of all areas of Dealer operations.
  • A good understanding of service, parts and Bodyshop processes and procedures
  • An excellent communicator
  • Analytical and thorough approach
  • Flexible approach to work – a self-sufficient, self-starter with high quality administration skills
  • Clean driving licence, a willingness to travel and stay away from home


Working pattern and location:

  • 40 Hours Monday – Friday
  • Location: North Midlands or Northern UK
  • Travel: Midlands, North UK
