Are you our new Automotive Field Service Engineer?

Do you enjoy being on the roads, supporting and coaching dealers on handling technical issues? Would you like to be part of a renowned Automotive company, applying your professional skills and experience? Then we might be looking for you!

 

As an Automotive Field Service Engineer you take care of the analysis, the management and the resolution of critical technical issues that require action at one of the workshops located in the assigned area. This means that you will be visiting dealers in the Northern area of Italy. 

 

If you own a relevant Engineering degree, you have technical experience in the Automotive sector and you speak Italian and English fluently, then read on!

 

What will you be doing on a daily basis

  • Provide technical support to dealer’s requests with appropriate quality, technical documentation and timeliness to prevent or immediately solve any customer complain;
  • Identify critical repairs and visit dealers to support them during the diagnosis and repair phase;
  • Carryout follow up reviews and escalate when needed;
  • Identify the areas to be changed and improved together with the associated recovery actions and timing, conducting coaching and training if needed;
  • Support all the After Sales Department on technical related topics to ensure customers' satisfaction.

 

Who are you?

  • Master Degree in Engineering (Mechanics, Eletronics, Automotive);
  • Approx. 3 to 5 years of experience in technical roles in the automotive industry;
  • Knowledge of vehicle diagnosis is a must;
  • Fluency in Italian and English;
  • Stakeholders management  skills and the ability to build relationships at all levels;
  • Customer oriented approach;
  • Ability to work independently and in team;
  • Excellent communication skills and problem-solving attitude;
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office package.

 

Working pattern

Field throughout Northern Italy

40 hours per week
