MSX International is looking for a Learning Technology Solutions Director to join our global organization and support our Solutions team worldwide.

 

The Role

 The Learning Technology Solutions Director will be responsible for overseeing and managing the internal and external technology tools associated with the ongoing delivery of MSX Learning Solutions’ offerings.

 

Role Scope

     The Learning Technology Solutions Director will be responsible for managing the current solutions portfolio and ensuring that it supports MSX Learning Solutions’ objectives. This individual will also be expected to::

  • Collaborate with MSX Information Technology Team to:
  • Assess current learning technology solutions for fit with company objectives.
  • Develop and maintain implementation and sustainment plans to ensure business continuity through product roadmaps that align with business strategy.
  • Evaluate and recommend solutions updates or new solutions to meet business needs.
  • Manage the implementation of new solutions, including planning, development, and testing.
  • Ensure the security and stability of learning technology solutions through appropriate monitoring systems and protocols.
  • Manage relationships with external  partners to ensure timely delivery of technology solutions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to gather requirements.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest learning trends and technologies to make recommendations to the Global Solutions Lead and Executive Management.
  • Mentor and develop Delivery Teams to support local implementation and sustainment activities, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
  • Forecast and manage solution costs and collaborate with Global Solutions Team, Local Delivery and Sales partners to ensure profitability of solutions.

 

      Your profile

      This is an excellent opportunity for an individual with great relationship-building and communication skills. Our ideal Learning Solutions Technologies Solutions Director will have strong customer engagement skills as well as:

  • 7+ years in a learning and development environment
  • A deep understanding of learning management systems and learning engagement platforms
  • Experience with instructional design and adult learning
  • Experience implementing external technology solutions
  • Experience working with software developers
  • A strong understanding of cloud and software infrastructure.
  • Outcome-orientated and focused on delivering high-quality projects within time and budget estimations.
  • Able to work under pressure and adapt to changing circumstances while applying analytical and technical skills to deliver results.
  • Demonstrated ability to think and plan strategically with a commercial focus.
  • Experience developing strategic plans and PowerPoint presentations to communicate to key stakeholders.
  • A breadth of design-level thinking which can see the “bigger picture” in recommending long-term solutions while dealing in real-time with shorter-term approaches to meet specific challenges.
  • Having eligibility to work in Europe without a sponsorship is a must

Working Pattern and Location

  • 40 hours per week 
  • Permanent
  • Monday-Friday
  • Location: Europe
  • Initial induction training will be a provided
  • Travel: must be prepared to travel outside the UK.

At MSXi, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $115k to $140k based on current experience.
