Validate and document current Labor Times for labor time guides.

Major Responsibilities:

Perform Labor Time Reviews and document findings (written and video recording).

  • Investigate inspection and installation of warranty and test parts by test driving vehicles.
  • Assist in development and communication of repair solutions to HMA’s Quality and Service Engineering Department and TAC.
  • Prepare vehicles for other specific departmental uses (e.g., VIP, marketing, media, special events).
  • Perform complex repairs and maintenance of fleet vehicles, service department test vehicles, and new model prototypes.
  • Provide technical support for all related vehicle quality improvement activities.
  • Follow and promote high standards of safety, cleanliness, and organization
  • Able to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Perform detailed daily record keeping and reporting.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned by HMA Project Manager.


Work Experience:

  • Experience at an automotive dealership or repair facility as a bumper-to-bumper technician, or similar comparable role a plus.


  • Valid ASE certification or equivalent.
  • Ability to analyze, diagnose and repair vehicles.
  • Ability to handle various tools, service equipment. and advanced diagnostic tools.
  • Microsoft Office 365 proficiency.
  • DMS experience a plus.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Organizational skills (e.g., time, management, scheduling, prioritizing, efficiency).

While performing the duties of this job, the employee must be physically capable to accomplish the tasks assigned to the program, including lifting a minimum of 50 lbs. without sustaining injury.

    • Mechanical hands on assembly/disassembly.
    • Normal office duties
    • Must be willing to help out with shop cleaning and general shop duties when necessary
    • Work may require occasional overtime, weekend, and/or evening work.
    • Must be willing to travel up to 25% (often with short notice).
    • Use equipment consistent with industry standards
    • First Aid/CPR Certified preferred but not required
