We are looking for a seasoned project manager to join our team in a highly dynamic role!  In this role, you will support a major automotive manufacturer by assuming project management responsibilities for a variety of strategic initiatives, including training content creation, event scheduling, managing key business projects and other activities related to the delivery of service training.  The ideal candidate has significant experience mapping processes for optimization and standardization, while demonstrating proficiency at communication with internal management, team members, and customers, to meet expectations.  Experience in automotive is a significant plus! 

 

Key Responsibilities Include: 

  • Develop, manage, and support multiple projects simultaneously, consistently, with focus on delivering highest possible quality.  

  • Demonstrate understanding of the business objectives related to each project.  

  • Assume ownership of all aspects of project development and delivery including quality, timing, budget, and customer satisfaction. 

  • Maintain regular communications (written and verbal) with business partners, manager, team, and Escalate visibility to issues; offer strategic solutions and guide challenges to resolution. 

  • Ability to multi-task and pivot, while documenting project details using project management tools and respond quickly to requests. 

 

Process Mapping and Reporting  

  • Identify gaps in processes and create solid foundational documented process in collaboration with business partners.   

  • Collaborate with assigned project team, business stakeholders to ensure objectives are successfully achieved. Identify solutions and coordinate steps to change management with support from business partners.  

  • Monitor and report on program progress and KPIs. 

  • Reporting and data analysis using Excel or other tools.   

  • Integrate raw data into charts and slides for presentations and performance measurement.  

  • Compile, update, and distribute regular reports (daily, weekly, monthly)   

  • Build presentations and communications documents using MS PowerPoint and MS Word.  

 

Communication and Customer Management  

  • Identify key stakeholders, create contact list, and establish rapport.  

  • Lead client discussions, and project meetings identifying scope, and project details. 

  • Manage customer communications including status on project timelines. 

  • Attend onsite meetings when required Support team with special assignments as needed. 

 

Required Experience and Skills  

  • 5+ years managing projects, including monitoring scope and budget and communications. 

  • Exceptional Project Management skills with the use of PM software (Trello, Smartsheet, teams, MS Projects, or any other Kanban platform) 

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with aggressive deadlines and frequent change.  

  • Strong organizational skills and success managing multiple projects simultaneously. 

  • Exceptional scheduling and planning skills specific to collaborating with multiple teams and internal resources. 

  • Personal emphasis on attention to detail  

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills  

  • Strong work ethic with enthusiastic, “can do” attitude and a fierce sense of ownership.  

  • Experience using MS Office tools (i.e., MS Word, MS Excel, and MS PowerPoint)

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate may not have been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At MSXI, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $110k to $130k based on current experience.
