Position Summary:
The Human Resource Generalist will play a crucial role in managing a full range of human resources activities including performance management, HR data integrity, salary reviews, and policy compliance. This position requires an individual who is adept at balancing employee needs with management expectations and can navigate complex HR issues with professionalism and discretion.


Day to Day Responsibilities:
•    Work closely with department managers to monitor and manage employee performance issues. Provide support in the development and implementation of performance improvement plans.

•    Audit and maintain accurate employee data within the Human Resources Information System (HRIS). Ensure all employee data complies with applicable laws and company policies.

•    Review and process salary increase requests in line with company guidelines and budgetary constraints. 

•    Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance.

•    Serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries and concerns. Help maintain a positive work environment by facilitating conflict resolution and fostering open communication.

•    Participate in HR projects such as employee engagement activities, talent development, and succession planning.

•    Performs other duties as assigned.


What you bring
•    Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
•    At least 2-4 years of experience in human resources, specifically in a generalist capacity.
•    Strong understanding of local, state, and federal employment laws.
•    Experience with HRIS systems and data management.
•    Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
•    Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
•    Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
