Purpose of the Position:

Facilitate and support Waste Elimination, Productivity Improvement, deliverables’ Quality Increase both in Support Function flows (Big Picture – Processes) ensuring Consistency and Scalability across MSX geographies.

 

Duties and Responsibilities:

In case of LEAN TRANSFORMATION

  • Support development of Lean Transformation Plan (Processes in Transformation, objectives and targets, Personnel skills, Technology/Suppliers Involvement, …);
  • Prepare Lean Transformation enrolment using Lean Initiation Process and having the Project Charter A3 approved by Main Stakeholders;
  • Deliver Kaizen Events to improve operational model, eliminate waste and increase value, efficiency and quality;
  • Identify the Ambassador in each Location or Process, coordinate Lean Ambassador’s Kaizen Events
  • Coach SF Teams on Lean Approach to maximize deliverables achievement.
  • Promote Lean cross learning and best practices sharing;
  • Communicate as required, providing Lean results and feedback.
  • Work with Operations and other Support Functions to correct and improve on going on going management: requirements, objectives setting, performance, efficiency gain, training if necessary.

 

         Main Responsibility is to

  • Guarantee Lean approach consistency for each process / location in scope;
  • Put in place all corrective and preventive actions to ensure Lean objectives achievement (productivity, quality, lead time, standardisation consistency and scalability);
  • Document; clearly precisely and promptly communicate. Share Improvement best practices with all teams to improve methodology and guidelines.

 

Authorities:

Full delegation in all activities related to:

  • Plan Kaizen Event to achieve defined Lean objectives and deadlines;
  • Monitor & control Lean results and action effectiveness;
  • Implement actions, especially coaching, monitoring, improve Operations consistency and standard delivery level.

 

Knowledge and Skill Required:

Good use of MS Office365 application, advanced PowerPoint, Word and Excel knowledge.  

Good knowledge of Data Collection, ETL and Business Analytics is a plus.

Good knowledge of Team building and Decision Making model and process.

Good knowledge of Conflict management and Coaching techniques. Good knowledge of Risk Management techniques will be a plus.

Good knowledge of Lean Management, Process Reengineering, Benchmarking will be a plus.

Good knowledge in building a business case to demonstrate ROI, knowledge in feasibility study will be a plus.

Leadership: able to foster trust, to influence and to mentor while monitoring; and evaluating the performance of the team and the project. Clearly communicates the individual objectives to each group member. Involves all members of the group and creates awareness.

Resilience: adaptability to time pressure and changing priorities, foreseeing problems and possible contingencies, meet deadlines and re-schedule if necessary, able to handle multiple tasks.

Logical thinking to breaking complex problems into their component parts and ability to solve both complex and uncomplicated problems by making decisions based on available information (problem-solving).

Good organizer: can establish work priorities, Identify and clearly states the objectives, establish timing and scheduling priorities, plans activities in the short, medium and long term. Foresees problems and possible contingencies.

Excellent communicator: able to interact at Customer Executive level, good in listening and understanding others, adapting the communication style to the various targets, conveying information and ideas clearly through a variety of media (PPT - EXL - Meeting 1-2-1-Many.

Good in helping people to learn, in facilitate and motivate people to achieve goals; able to build awareness, agreement and cooperation and a unified sense of purpose and accountability in multi-cultural team.

Able to operate in multi-disciplinary and multi-cultural teams and environment.

Capacity to have a systemic approach and thinking out of the box is a plus.

 

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience. Certified Coach by an industry recognized body will be a plus.

 

Experience:

Minimum two years of experience in Lean Management is a must. Previous experience in delivery and/or Support Functions, in process improvement, in customer satisfaction, in coaching will be a plus.
