MSX International is looking for a Legal and Privacy Analyst to join our busy JLR team in Gaydon.

The Legal and Privacy Analyst will support with the creation, delivery and maintenance of customer facing Terms & Conditions and Privacy Policies (legal documents).


The Role

In this role, the Legal and Privacy Analyst will be will be involved with a number of essential legal task and interface with global, regional, internal and external stakeholders on all legal and privacy matters.


As part of this role, the Legal and Privacy Analyst will:

  • Managing the compliant creation, maintenance and delivery of key customer end user terms/policies required by law in new and existing global markets.
  • Completing global market legal reviews to ensure product compliance before launch
  • Responsible for the planning and co-ordination of updating and reviewing policies, procedures, and guidance documentation.
  • Preparation and management of global market legal documents.
  • Working with external stakeholders to ensure correct legal documents are available to customers and on all customer contact points
  • Conducting desktop research to stay aligned with changes to regulations and laws that would have an impact on the end user terms for customers
  • Supporting engineers with the Privacy by Default and Design Process to ensure InControl Product compliance that is a connected car product
  • Project managing legal workstreams within the Kanban Board and participating in ‘agile’ to include daily stand ups, QBR memo planning, risk and dependency tracking and agile ceremonies


About you

This is an excellent opportunity for an individual with great organizational skills and legal knowledge. Our ideal Legal and Privacy Analyst will have experience in the application of Privacy by Design and Default and data privacy regulations such as GDPR. As well as:


  • Previous experience working in a legal activity
  • Experience with end-to-end legal document and records management
  • Stakeholder management and experience/exposure of working in a matrix environment
  • Awareness of data residency rules, data transfer agreements and IOT policies
  • Sensitivity to work in different cultural communications
  • Critical thinking, creative on problem resolution
  • Outstanding communications skills and organizational skills

  • 40 hours per week
  • Monday – Friday
  • Hybrid pattern (1 day in the office in Gaydon, 4 days from home – flexibility required)
