The primary purpose of the WTC Data Entry/Back-Up Package Handler position is to update AS400 using the daily engine and transmission callback tracking lists provided by the analytics team. This position also supports the package handlers and the Shipping & Receiving Team Lead in various other tasks required for operation. The Hyundai WTC operates on a team model, and as such, anyone in any position may be required to assist other departments as the need arises. Data Entry/Back-Up Package Handlers report to the Shipping & Receiving Team Lead and the MSX WTC Manager.

Duties of the for the Data Entry/Back-up Package Handler position include: 

• Update engine tracking in AS400 using the daily callback list 

• Update transmission tracking in AS400 using the daily callback list 

Back-up Package Handler duties, as required-  

• Receive and sort daily shipments from FedEx and process same day. (KPI) 

• Assist with staging packages at table and in receiving section of Area A as FedEx agent unloads truck. 

• Open packages, separate packing slips and sort parts for technicians, engineers, scrap, HMC, etc. 

• Enter packing slips into AS400 to receive parts into tracking system. 

• Assist with shipping and receiving of other packages, besides daily FedEx delivery, as needed. 

• Assist S & R Team Lead with department, dealer, and vendor communications, via email and phone calls, as needed. 

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of facility, specifically Area A and pertinent sections of Area C, but also of entire facility. This includes, but is not limited to, the following EVERY DAY: 

• Emptying trash and recyclables when receiving is complete. 

• Cleaning and sweeping receiving area as needed. 

• Cleaning and sweeping unloading zone of parking lot as needed. 

• Staging catalytic converters and scrap in an organized manor in Area C (KPI). 

• Staging engineer parts in an organized manor in Area C. 

• Unlocking and locking outside trash & recycle bins at the start and end of each day. 

• Obtain and maintain automotive Hazmat handler certification (paid by company). 

• Various other tasks as required.

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate may not have been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At MSXI, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $19 to $24 hourly based on current experience.
