Title:  Warranty Compliance Analyst

Analyst Essential Accounting Functions

  • Create, manager, and receive all SAP purchase requisitions, purchase orders, and suppliers in accordance with HMA Corporate Finance and Purchasing policies.
  • Ensure a correct general ledger is documented as part of the financial process and reporting.
  • Document all transaction activity in the SAP warranty log.
  • Perform other duties as assigned in various HMA systems with a high level of accuracy.
  • Assist with projects in a deadline-driven environment as requested by the HMA Project Manager.
  • Assist in the preparation of budget forecast amounts and actual amounts analyses.
  • Assist Billing Coordinator with ACLs.
  • Attend monthly Campaign meetings with HMA Warranty and other departments.
  • Provide feedback and knowledge of warranty issues and applicable information.
  • Coordinate campaign part shipments to HMA regions, Dealers and MOBIS Parts America parts distribution centers.
  • Review Technical Service Bulletins for unanticipated problems that do not necessarily warranty a safety recall or service campaign.
  • Review Dealer’s retail rate for parts and repair labor concerning certain actions and unfair practices for compliance with all applicable local, state, and federal consumer protection laws, rules and regulations.
  • Classify VIN’s as directed by HMA Consumer Affairs and Fleet and Vehicle Operations departments.
  • Validate branded title file transfers to IBM AS/400 target database.
  • Coordinate department records retention requirements with the HMA Project Manager.
  • Provide strategic and operational support for the Warranty Administrator Rewards Program.
  • Generate reports to capture eligible reward participant data needed for analysis.
  • Maintain and distribute awards, merchandise, and materials for the rewards program and training classes.
  • Conduct review of HMA warranty manuals and publications indicated in Section 2.6 of this Scope.
  • Inventory and order department parts tags and miscellaneous items.
