Title:  Fleet Service Field Consultant

Summary

  • Extensive Weekly Overnight Travel primarily throughout the Southeastern US, but may include broader travel around the US
  • Base Salary + Vehicle Allowance; Bonus Potential; Travel Expense Reimbursement; Paid Vacation; Benefits and 401K; etc.
  • Company phone, laptop and tablet provided
  • Success is measured by the successful launch and continued profitable operation of fleet/commercial centers
  • This challenging new position is on a long-term project for a major OE Vehicle Manufacturer’s service solutions initiative

Responsibilities

  • Willingness and Ability to support multiple 8-30+ Bay Fleet & Commercial Facilities in a Consultative Capacity primarily across the southeastern US
    • Support includes both on-site, virtual and telephone support
    • Includes Sales, Product and Process Training
    • Customer Account Management
    • Responsible for customer success
  • As project expands, position may include field consultant management responsibilities

 

General Position Requirements

  • 7+ years’ experience in the fleet/commercial service & tire industry, including fleet service center operations.
    • Fleet/Service Maintenance & Repair Operations
    • Includes tire sales and services
  • Understanding of fleet/commercial service center operations and management
    • Understanding of Profit/Loss Statements, Gross Profit Margins & Expense Ratios
    • Staffing Models & Compensation Strategies
    • Inventory Models & Pricing Strategies for Products & Service Menus
    • Fleet Service Sales (Inside & Outside Sales)
      • Local & National Fleets
      • GSA & Management Fleet Programs
    • Fleet Customer Solicitation & Marketing
    • Fleet Customer Account Management
    • Fleet Shop & Service Flow Processes & Dispatch Systems
    • Experience with Mobile Fleet Service (off-site) is a plus
    • Efficient Shop Layout & Design; Equipment Requirements
  • Ability to design and support implementation of established and innovative Process Improvement Plans
  • Independent Fleet Service Center Management experience preferred
