MSXI is a leading, global provider of technology-enabled business process outsourcing services to automotive manufacturers, and has an exciting opportunity for a Body Training Developer and Regional Training Lead to join our dynamic team within Jaguar Land Rover (JLR).

 

This fixed term position is well suited to an individual with a background in training or education in panel refinish or vehicle damage assessment.

 

The Role

The Body Training Developer and Regional Training Lead is a key role within the business and will focus on designing and producing Bodyshop training, and will ensure this training is rolled out, monitored and JLR Body Training Mandates are achieved.

 

In this development and capability role, the Body Training Developer and Regional Training Lead will be responsible for:

 

Development

  • Develop, design and create Bodyshop training materials that support Learner Journey outcomes of mechanical, electrical and trim, refinish and panel activities
  • Design theory and practical activities to simplify and convey modern vehicle technologies
  • Utilise CAD data and software tools to create graphics/animations to support subject matter
  • Pilot training modules
  • Support project development calendar and status reviews
  • Ensure quality and relevance of content is achieved and supports Learner Journey outcomes

 

Regional Body Training Support

  • Coordinate with the regional and market Training Managers to produce and track against a plan that supports the achievement of the Bodyshop Training Mandates
  • Develop and implement effective reporting on key training metrics such as
    • Individual learner progression
    • Job role progression
    • Trainer capability/accreditation
  • Act as a consultant and provide guidance to the region and market training managers to grow Body training
  • Ensure training is being delivered as per course guidelines for Panel, Refinish and MET

 

As our successful candidate, you will:

 

  • Be a Panel and Refinish Industry Subject Matter Expert
  • Be knowledgeable in Global Bodyshop service competencies
  • have a Training or Educational background in panel refinish or vehicle damage assessment disciplines
  • Recent or current knowledge of VDA (Vehicle Damage Assessment)
  • have experience with structured authoring tools/XML, in a development environment (advantageous)
  • Knowledge of CAD data and software tools (advantageous)

 

Working pattern and location

  • 40 hours per week (07:00-15:30)
  • FTC with potential extension
  • Monday-Friday
  • Fen End, Warwick and home working
  • Occasional travel oversees
