Telematics Sales Executive

MSXI UK is growing! As a result, we are now looking for an experienced fleet, sales or aftersales professional with an understanding of vehicle telematics and the application of data in improving fleet efficiency.


As a Fleet Telematics Sales Executive with the MSXI Global group, you will be joining our UK team, working primarily from home with occasional travel to attend client and/or customer meetings. You will work closely with our longstanding automotive partner, a respected global automotive manufacturer. Ideally you will have fleet experience, an understanding of vehicle connectivity / the telematics industry in the UK.

This is a national position covering the UK.


Your responsibilities:

  • Significantly increase subscriptions to our partners Telematics Reporting and Data Services
  • Contact lead generation, working closely with the relevant MSXI Project Manager and our partners Commercial Solutions Team to develop a comprehensive and effective contact strategy.
  • Prepare and deliver sales presentations to achieve customer buy in
  • Develop and update a CRM database and other performance tracking tools such that sales performance can be accurately monitored and reported.
  • Attend regular update meetings, report on performance and best practices.
  • Support customers through free trial and subscription processes.
  • Any other tasks required to support the business operationally.


Your profile:

  • Automotive professional with minimum 5 years’ experience in Fleet Operations, Sales or Aftersales. Ideally within Fleet Operations with an understanding of the challenges inherent in managing fleets of vehicles.
  • Understanding of telematics / vehicle connectivity industry in the UK and an ability to effectively communicate related services.
  • Good communicator with the ability to produce and present cohesive sales presentations to obtain customer buy-in
  • Highly motivated
  • Strong, disciplined self-starter able to operate independently with limited supervision.
  • Client facing business relationship management.
  • Sales and data focused.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Computer literate, particularly MS Office applications


Working pattern and location:

  • Full time (Monday – Friday)
  • Home based
  • Travel to Stratford (London) or Colchester, Essex 1-2 days per month (fully expensed)
