We are expanding and optimizing our network of over 1,450 Commercial Vehicle Centers across North America to provide enhanced service support dedicated to commercial customers.


Role Details:

The Facility Project Manager will support the Ford Pro Elite Team in opening Greenfield and Brownfield commercial service facilities within an assigned market area for Ford Motor Company.  The Facility Project Manager will keep the Dealer, contractor, suppliers, and the Ford Pro Elite Teams updated on construction pace and milestones.  The successful candidate should have a good understanding of service facility design, construction, shop layout and equipment requirements.

Role Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Follow the Ford Pro Service Elite facility launch process
  • Travel to maintain facility completion pace
  • Achieve facility opening objectives
  • Support Greenfield and Brownfield projects
  • Ensure that Rotunda equipment is in accordance with contractor’s schedule
  • Provide the Ford Pro Facility Manager with timely facility dashboard inputs
  • Work with Regional teams to maintain facility construction progress
  • Estimated Travel Time: Up to 75%


Act as a Liaison with the following project participants

  • Architects
  • Suppliers
  • Build Teams & General Contractors
  • Network Development Coordinators
  • Ford Regional Offices
  • Dealer Principals and Management Personnel


Role Requirements:

  • Degree preferred or equivalent work experience
  • 5+ years of automotive/truck experience
  • 5+ years of experience in facility construction and equipment layout
  • 3+ years project management

Role Qualifications:

  • Strong knowledge and understanding of automotive/truck facility construction projects
  • Strong knowledge of service repair equipment and shop layout
  • Strong project management and organizational skills
  • Ability to operate independently
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Strong knowledge of MS Office products, i.e., Excel, Word, and Outlook.
