About The Role:
Reporting to the VP of North American Sales, the Business Development Manager will be responsible for growing our exposure of all Value Stream offerings with new and existing clients. Through market research, deep understanding of our value stream offerings, enacting connections between our value stream teams and sales teams, and through expanding connections, leads, and targets for our North American Sales leaders your work will expand our foothold and value to clients. By working both in whitespace areas with existing clients and aiding in opening up new opportunities with new clients you will be critical to our success in North America. Your success will be directly tied to your growth KPIs within whitespace and greenspace areas of North American business. If successful, you will be impacting North American operations by aiding the Sales organization in achieving or exceeding their annual objective and by aiding the Value Stream organizations in achieving or exceeding their annual objectives.
Day to Day Responsibilities:
- Define the business development strategy by OEM with each account Sales leader and each Value Stream. This will include white space analysis, competitor analysis, understanding growth potential, ensuring contacts (both within the business and purchasing) are known, identifying customer needs, and drafting/executing communications to increase leads, targets, and meetings
- Building communications and marketing plans to enhance lead generation with Sales, Value Streams, and Marketing
- Achieving Monthly/Annual KPIs around leads, targets, communications, meetings
- Developing and implementing action plans to mitigate shortfalls where necessary
- Managing and organizing presales and strategic sales including the delivery of presentations, participating in events, networking, strengthening relationships, and feeding the sales pipeline
- Acting as a liaison between sales teams, support functions (Finance and HR), and delivery teams to encourage alignment and avoid a ‘siloed’ environment
- Collaborating with the local Value Stream delivery teams to understand current activity statuses and customer needs, anticipate contract renewals, and proactively offer new solutions developed to Sales team
- Cooperating with the Value Stream solutions team to drive the right mix of products and solutions and provide valuable feedback on market/region needs
- Using the company CRM to ensure leads and targets are inputted for each Sales team leader by Value Stream and monitoring/pushing progress of inputs down the funnel to prospect and proposal stages
- Ensuring good partnerships and collaboration and understanding with other markets activities to sell locally
- Growing greenspace – NEW clients – leads, targets, and meetings
About You:
You have excellent knowledge in:
- MS Office365 applications (PowerPoint, Word and Excel)
- CRM tools and functionalities
- Communications development
- Presentation development

Experience and Qualifications:
You are experienced/possess the following:
- 5+ years experience (preferably in Automotive) in Aftersales, Sales, Marketing, and/or Operations.
- Minimum of BA degree.
- Maturity, decorum, and confidence.
- Analytical, presentation/communication development, and soft skills.
- Knowledge, research, market trends development experience.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.
- Strategic and proactive sales.
- Thought leadership.
- Using CRM tools and reporting sales activities.
Languages: English (written and spoken) is mandatory.
Qualifications: Preferably MBA or BBA
Other: You are open to travel and/or relocation as needed
