MSXI Hungary is growing! As a result, we are now looking for a German Speaking HR & Payroll Specialist to support the DACH region (Germany, Austria, Switzerland). This role is an integral part of our HR Operations with a focus on Payroll. The successful candidate will be involved in pre- and post payroll activities working closely together with HR and Agencies across the DACH region. 
This is a permanent opportunity with a flexible work pattern between working from home and from our office in Dorottya Udvar, Budapest.


In this role you will:

  • Central contact for the employees of the DACH Region being the responsible for questions regarding wage and salary
  • Interface between HR admin and external payroll service providers (based in Germany/Austria/Switzerland)
  • Admission / creation of new employees in HR Works and HRIS
  • Deactivation / final settlement of departures in HR Works and HRIS
  • Rejection of billing-relevant data in HR Works and HRIS
  • Absence Recording in HR Works
  • Examination, administration and inclusion of the preparation of continued payment of wages in the payroll accounting for the accounting offices
  • Compilation of the fee bases for the accounting offices in Germany, Austria and Switzerland
  • Coordination, collection and checking of the cost center allocation to  payroll
  • Coordination and contact for the accounting offices in Germany, Austria, Switzerland
  • Correspondence with health insurance companies and social security agencies
  • Manage and release the test accounts of the payroll service providers
  • Transfer of payment files to finance ensuring Payouts
  • Sending the final accounting documents to the exiting employees
  • Filing Applications for  to capital-forming claims and company pension schemes,  interface to the service provider MLP / TPC


As our ideal candidate, you will have:

  • Basic knowledge of social insurance and tax law and a basic knowledge of all three tax systems (D-A-CH)
  • Experience with German Payroll (only prep)
  • Fluency in German and English
  • Punctual and be able to work against deadlines (Payroll closing)
  • Attention to detail and to work accurately
  • Very good reporting and Excel solutions
