MSX are currently recruiting for a Programme Manager to provide business liaison between field, office and home-based teams and the client, whilst ensuring effective operational delivery of programmes.

 

 

The Role

The Aftersales Programme Manager role encompasses delivery against existing programmes in line with agreed KPIs; identifying opportunities to development and training of teams, to provide Clients with additional value, opportunities and solutions for continued and growth potential.

 

The Aftersales Programme Manager will lead and develop teams to achieve programme targets and objectives for both MSX and the client. This will be achieved through the day-to-day operational management of programme activity, programme teams and monitoring of their activities, being the main operational point of contact between the Team Leaders and team members and the Business Owners.

 

As well as supporting MSX with the successful delivery of multiple programmes, particularly within BMW Group, the Aftersales Programme Manager will:

 

  • Support the Delivery Manager with program re-tenders/business development and with governance reviews in accordance to program deliverables, results and achievements
  • Implement clear communication strategies with teams and business owners
  • Provide solutions and suggestions for any trouble shooting and create new initiatives and improvements where appropriate
  • Ensure all program documentation is up to date
  • Take responsibility for performance growth, to agreed KPI’s, across client networks
  • Carry out in depth business reviews of all associated programme activities, providing root cause analysis
  • Schedule and chair regular programme review meetings with program teams, client programme management and stakeholders, with recorded monthly packs with performance, program updates and actions recorded
  • Ensure effective communication and feedback at all times with Client Head Office, Regional Management, MSX Delivery Manager and MSX Support Functions
  • Support strategic programme direction and steering meetings with Delivery Manager
  • Provide strategic support and direction for the client on programme development
  • Assist with monthly forecasting and invoicing / billing
  • Take responsibility for team management, such as:
    • programme compliancy and discipline
    • recruitment
    • expenses
    • holidays and sickness
    • set objectives and review performance
    • management and audit of team vehicles

 

 

About you

This is an excellent opportunity for an individual with great knowledge and experience of Automotive aftersales in both service and parts, and for someone who wants to continue growing as a project manager.

Our ideal Aftersales Programme Manager will be customer focused, with a particular skill in problem solving and identifying solutions, and will have:

 

  • Project management experience
  • People management experience
  • Experience of managing multiple projects simultaneously
  • Experience in putting together business cases
  • Business development experience
  • Sound understanding of Aftersales & Customer Retention activities within the dealer network
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft packages including Project, PowerPoint, Visio, Word and Excel
  • The ability to work off own initiative
  • The ability to develop excellent operating relationships
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong influencing and negotiating skills
  • The ability to work within tight and demanding deadlines
  • The ability to conduct high level management meetings and reviews
  • The ability to interpret, analyse and make recommendations from data sources
  • Excellent presentation skills and comfortable presenting to groups of people

Working pattern and location

  • 40 Hours per week
  • Permanent
  • Monday-Friday
  • Location: Remote
  • Travel: 2 days a week to client sites (likely Warwick, Colchester and Farnborough)
