Title:  Area Sales Executive

As an Area Sales Executive with the MSX Global group, you will have the opportunity to contribute towards the commercial aspirations of the Trade Parts business for our automotive partner, a Premium car manufacturer with significant market share and presence in the UK.

 

The ideal candidate will have a proven history of achieving performance targets and will enjoy engaging with a diverse range of stakeholders within the automotive franchise network.

 

The Area Sales Executive will be responsible for driving sales in a specified territory, winning OES market share by executing sales and marketing initiatives on behalf of the franchised retailer network. Particular focus on enhancing our current client partnership and increasing overall sales revenue and profitability through the independent repairer segment.

 

Your responsibilities:

  • Must posess expert knowledge and recent experience of the parts trade industry from franchised dealer, vehicle manufacturer or aftermarket competitive parts operations.
  • A proven track record of successful B2B sales target achievement.
  • Minimum of 2 years in the parts trade - customer facing or sales experience.
  • Understanding of IMT & Accident Repair Centre service and product requirements.
  • Ability to work autonomously and manage multiple high priority tasks simultaneously.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills with an ability to build long term commercially beneficial relationships
  • Implement tailored promotional plans to the independent repairers within your territory.
  • Provide feedback on the competitive landscape in a meaningful and relevant way.
  • Maintain and share a fully updated business activity diary.
  • Utilise the business activity tool to keep an updated record of activity and share reporting with retailers.
  • Achieve and exceed revenue targets for your assigned territory/retailers/customers alike.
  • Support programme brand standards and compliance.
  • Ability to identify, qualify & quantify revenue opportunities within your assigned territory.

 

Working pattern and location:

  • 40 hours per week
  • Full Time (Monday – Friday)
  • Field Based – South of England – Basingstoke, Salisbury, Winchester, Southampton
