Job Summary:

Under direction of the Local Controller, support the division Finance department with general accounting duties.

Your Responsibilities:

• Month-end and year-end closing duties including journal entries, intercompany balancing, account reconciliations and reporting.
• Track, maintain and report fixed assets
• Track, maintain and report capital expenditures
• Review financial spreadsheets and other reports to analyze trends and performance
• Assist with updating financial instructions regarding accounting practices, procedures and policies
• Assist with year-end internal audits
• Assist with tax reporting
• Assist with lease tracking
• Assist with Payroll Analysis and reconciliations
• Other duties as assigned

• Problem solving and variance research skills
• Ability to interact with people at all levels and departments (finance, operations, sales, etc.)
• Willing to learn and take on new tasks
• Self-motivated and proactive

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field desired

Experience:

• Ideal for recent college graduate or 1-3 years of experience
• Proficient in Excel
• Experience with other Office Suite Tools (Word, PowerPoint) preferred
