Day to Day Responsibilities

  • Greet and communicate with customers about their vehicle repair needs and relaying information to the Engineering Technicians.
  • Determine service repairs, vehicle records and maintain up-to-date knowledge about recalls, service campaigns, and warranty part repairs.
  • Contact customers to update them about their vehicle’s repair status.
  • Create Repair Order (“RO”) and develop estimates by costing the services, parts, and labor.
  • Check progress of repairs throughout the day with Engineering Technicians and update customer regarding any changes or promise time.
  • Obtain proper authorization before additional repairs are performed from the Engineering Technician.
  • Schedule service appointments, obtain customer and vehicle data prior to the appointment time.
  • Identify and evaluate new and different requests to determine opportunities where improvements or productivity to exceed customer expectations.
  • Perform eMPIs and finalize results in quarter-time to the customer via phone, email or text.
  • Assist with end of day paperwork, customer calls and miscellaneous tasks as required by the HMA Project Manager.
  • Identify and complete engineering and media vehicles recalls, service.
  • campaigns or warranty parts repairs before final transport to destination.
  • Notify the HMA Project Manager for any HMA facility repairs and maintenance.

 

What you bring

  • Excellent customer service, interpersonal, and communication skills.
  • Strong organizational, decision making, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to communicate with Service Engineers, customers, and management.
  • Ability to interpret customer needs or concerns to RO.
  • Microsoft Office 365 proficiency.
  • High school diploma or General Education Development Test (GED) equivalent.

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate may not have been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At MSXi, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $24.00 to $28.00 hourly based on current experience.
